EZ Smile 2-Step Diamond Spiral Polishing Kit is designed for efficient pre-polishing and high-gloss polishing of compatible composite and hybrid ceramic restorations. The kit combines flexible 14 mm diamond-impregnated spiral wheels with a simple Medium-to-Fine sequence.

The spiral polishing elements adapt to flat, curved and contoured restoration surfaces, helping maintain natural anatomy while providing broad, controlled surface contact.

Two-Step Polishing Sequence

• Step 1 – Pink Medium: Pre-polishing and surface refinement after the restoration has been shaped and finished.
• Step 2 – White Fine: Final polishing for a smooth, lustrous and high-gloss finish.

The kit includes three polishers for each stage, for a total of six instruments.

Flexible All-Surface Spiral Design

The open spiral geometry adapts to occlusal, buccal, lingual, facial, incisal and interproximal surfaces. Its flexible polishing elements follow grooves and restoration contours, reducing the need to change between multiple instrument shapes.

Recommended Speed and Technique

Operate within the recommended 7,000–12,000 RPM range using light, controlled pressure. Keep the instrument moving across the restoration and avoid prolonged contact in one area to limit unnecessary heat generation. Do not exceed the maximum speed of 15,000 RPM.

Complete the Pink Medium stage before progressing to the White Fine stage. Clean the restoration between stages to prevent particles from the previous grit from affecting the final polish.

Directions for Use

1. Confirm that the restorative material and handpiece are compatible with the polishing system.
2. Inspect the spiral wheel and shank. Do not use a cracked, distorted or excessively worn instrument.
3. Secure the 2.35 mm CA/RA shank in a compatible low-speed contra-angle handpiece.
4. Begin with the Pink Medium polisher for pre-polishing and surface refinement.
5. Use light pressure and keep the polisher moving at 7,000–12,000 RPM.
6. Clean and inspect the restoration before changing stages.
7. Continue with the White Fine polisher for final high-gloss polishing.
8. Stop when the desired finish is achieved. Never exceed 15,000 RPM.

Cleaning and Reprocessing

Remove residual restorative material before sterilization. Follow the validated cleaning, packaging, sterilization and drying procedures used by your dental facility. Inspect each polisher after processing and replace any instrument that is loose, damaged, distorted, excessively worn or does not rotate concentrically.
