Reusable Flip-Up Face Shield

The EZ Smile Flip-Up Face Shield provides a clear front barrier for the eyes and face during tasks involving routine splashes, droplets or debris. Its hinged visor can be raised temporarily and lowered into the working position without removing the adjustable headband.

Suggested Uses

Suitable as an additional facial barrier in dental and medical offices, laboratories, cleaning tasks, beauty services, food-service support, inspection work and light manufacturing when a face shield is appropriate for the assessed hazard.

Important PPE Limitations

A face shield is open around the sides and bottom and does not filter airborne particles. It is supplementary PPE and does not replace a mask or respirator when respiratory protection is required. It also does not replace impact-rated safety glasses or sealed goggles when those are specified.

No ANSI/ISEA Z87.1 impact rating, medical-device authorization or other performance certification is claimed unless it appears on the supplied package. Keep the visor lowered during exposure and select PPE according to workplace procedures and risk assessment.

Cleaning and Replacement

Follow the supplied cleaning instructions and use only products compatible with the visor, coating, hinge and headband. Replace the shield if it becomes cracked, cloudy, deeply scratched, warped or unable to remain securely positioned.
