EZ Smile Aluminum Oxide Composite Polishing Brushes are abrasive-loaded rotary brushes designed for finishing and polishing compatible composite restorations without separate polishing paste.

The flexible bristles contain aluminum oxide (alumina) abrasive particles and adapt to grooves, occlusal anatomy and contoured restorative surfaces. Three brush shapes provide controlled access across broad and detailed areas.

Directions for Use

1. Confirm compatibility with the composite restorative material and handpiece.
2. Select the bowl, pointed or flat shape according to the surface anatomy.
3. Inspect the brush head, bristles and RA shank before use.
4. Secure the 2.35 mm RA shank in a compatible low-speed contra-angle handpiece.
5. Operate between 1,000 and 7,500 RPM using light, controlled pressure.
6. Keep the brush moving and avoid prolonged contact in one area.
7. Use the abrasive-loaded brush directly; do not add polishing paste.
8. Stop when the desired surface smoothness and gloss have been achieved.
